Juliano's is a small pizza joint nestled between two much larger establishments. Upon first seeing the storefront it's impossible to deny that the restaurant is best described as a "hole-in-the-wall." Don't try to deny this aspect of Juliano's; it's part of the restaurant's appeal. Juliano's charm stems from just how unordinary the place is. The layout is long and narrow, and the floor is bare concrete. It's a place that looks like it was never meant to be an eatery. The only person behind the counter is Juliano himself. Take note of his eclectic personality and attire. Also note he has a flat-screen television mounted to the wall solely for watching YouTube videos and karaoke. If watching YouTube videos with Juliano doesn't keep you coming back to the restaurant, then the pizza will. Juliano sells pizza in fourths and halves of a pie, as well as whole pies. Juliano's pizzas can be customized down to the type and ingredients of the crust, and the amount of toppings available is intimidating for the uncertain diner. Juliano's greatest claim to fame is his vegan pizza. The pizzas are all vegan from the crust to the pseudo-meat toppings. Local vegans rave about the quality and taste of Juliano's vegan pizza, and they swear by it. If you're up to breaking the campus bubble, stop by Juliano's for some great pizza, eclectic atmosphere and YouTube on a flat-screen.
