The Spectator has been the official student newspaper of Seattle University since 1933.
The Spectator is published on a weekly basis except for the first week of the quarter, examination periods and during holidays, for a total of 27 issues for the 2008-2009 academic year. More than 2,000 copies of The Spectator are distributed on Wednesday evenings to the Seattle University campus. One copy is available to all students, faculty and administrators. Additional copies may be purchased from The Spectator offices at the cost of $1 per issue.
The Spectator strives to present the news, events and topics of interest that affect the Seattle University community in an unbiased and professional manner--at the same time serving as the developmental ground for the writers, photographers, designers and editors it employs.
