Corrections policy
The Spectator takes accuracy seriously. We know we will make mistakes and believe that we learn from them best.
Please help us report the facts and learn from our mistakes by telling us what you believe should be corrected.
The Spectator amends stories that need a correction by posting an editor's note at the beginning of the online version.
In print, corrections appear in the Opinion section and are clearly labeled. Corrections will also appear on this Web page.
Editors take reports of error seriously. These reports will be evaluated by multiple editors, notes will be consulted and
the staff members involved will explain how an error might have occurred. The Spectator then takes measures so the same
error doesn't occur again.
