Advertising sizes
The Spectator is formatted as a quarterfold publication, five columns wide by 15 inches tall. One column width is equal to 1.83 inches. Common sizes of ads are full page, half page, quarter page and eighth page. However, any ad between five columns and 15 inches is welcome. Any ad more than 11 inches deep will be charged as a full page ad. Display ads must be at least two column inches wide. Ads will be accepted in half-inch increments.

Advertising rates
Please note that rates depend on whether you are a national client, local, on-campus, nonprofit or student organization. The charts show the discounts for running ads repeatedly. For example, for a national client to run a full-page ad 27 times each ad run would cost only $318.75. That's a 50 percent discount! Deadlines
The deadline for print advertisement copy is the Monday at 5 p.m. prior to publication. Advertisements must be made to the correct size and file type, compatible with The Spectator's software.
