Deadlines
The deadline for print advertisement copy is the Monday at 5 p.m. prior to publication. Advertisements must be made to the correct size and file type, compatible with The Spectator's software. If ads are an incorrect size or format, an additional $50 will be charged to your invoice for design changes.
Custom Ads
We are glad to design ads for your company if you provide us with text and any images you want included. Custom ads come at the minimal cost of $50 plus whatever the base cost is for the size of ad you have chosen.
Terms of payment
Statements are mailed at the end of each publication. Invoices can be sent for each individual ad, or an advertiser can request a quarterly invoice.
The price shown on the invoice is due and payable by the advertiser no later than 30 days after the advertisement is published.
A Credit Card Authorization form may be faxed to 206-296-6477 or mailed to: 901 12th Ave., P.O. Box 222000, Seattle, WA 98122-1090. Charges will appear from Seattle University on the advertiser's credit card statement. The authorization form is available through a The Spectator sales representative or business manager.
You may also mail a check or money order to the provided address. Please make all checks or money orders payable to The Spectator at Seattle University.
New advertising clients will be required to write a check or money order or submit credit card information prior to the advertisement's publication.
Should the account become overdue, the advertiser will incur an additional 5 percent of the total finance charge on a per day basis. Moreover, the advertiser will also be responsible for all legal expenses or extra cost required to recover the overdue debt.
