Taylor Olson, who started swimming competitively at the age of six, helped lead her high school swim team to a 4A state championship her senior year. She then coached a summer league swim team and taught lessons at Safe Splash Swim School. Continuing her swimming career at the collegiate level, Taylor competed at the NCAA DII level for two years at Seattle University. She currently enjoys open water swimming and plans to start training for triathlons. Taylor has been with The Spectator for two years. See some of her work as the national swimming examiner here.
